Biodegradable tubes and caps for nerve reconstructions.

Synthetic, resorbable copolyester polymer (approximately 2 years), hollow tube open on one end with a closed cap on the other end, designed to cover a nerve end to prevent the (re)formation of a painful neuroma. Flexible, easy to suture (transparent), extremely safe (no immune reactions), and with a long resorption time that insulates the nerve stump until the risk of neuroma formation is significantly minimized. This nerve cap is available in a 30 mm length with 9 diameter options.
