What is Dynavisc:

DYNAVISC® is a clear, absorbable gel that covers surgically traumatized tissues during tendon and/or peripheral nerve surgeries, such as in foot, knee, shoulder, and hand surgeries. DYNAVISC® acts as a temporary, protective barrier to separate tissues and reduce fibrosis and the formation of postoperative adhesions.

DYNAVISC® is made from FzioMed's leading biomaterial gel technology (CMC and PEO) and comes ready-to-use in a 1 ml syringe with a sterile, flexible applicator.

Why and when to use Dynavisc:

Adhesions are internal bands of scar tissue that can develop after surgery as the body tries to heal. Adhesion formation post-surgery can interfere with the normal gliding function of tendons and nerves, leading to pain and significantly restricted movement. Post-surgical adhesions in the hand can create tension that, if severe and prolonged, may lead to further nerve injury, nerve compression, patient pain, and a generally reduced quality of life.
